First is the overt and plain lie that “We have no record of anything that was written about Jesus by eyewitnesses or other contemporaries during the time he would have lived, or for decades thereafter.”
The Bible is a historical document, besides being the Word of God. In that Word of God and historical document, we have the phrase: “2 Peter 1:16 For we have not made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, following cleverly imagined fables, but having been eyewitnesses of *his* majesty. “ and “Luke 1:1-4 Forasmuch as many have undertaken to draw up a relation concerning the matters fully believed among us, as those who from the beginning were eye-witnesses of and attendants on the Word have delivered them to us, it has seemed good to *me* also, accurately acquainted from the origin with all things, to write to thee with method, most excellent Theophilus, that thou mightest know the certainty of those things in which thou hast been instructed.”

But Valerie Tarico, the author, “ a former evangelical”, says there is no eyewitness account, implies the Bible does not even exist as a historical document and makes the Holy Spirit out to be a liar. Calling the Holy Spirit a liar and a non-eyewitness is the ONLY unforgivable sin.
Mark 3:28,29 Verily I say unto you, that all sins shall be forgiven to the sons of men, and all the injurious speeches with which they may speak injuriously; but whosoever shall speak injuriously against the Holy Spirit, to eternity has no forgiveness; but lies under the guilt of an everlasting sin;
Valerie’s sidestepping of the Holy Spirit as witness is key to her accusations against Christ Himself.
Note, her article is a direct attack on Christ Himself—not just “his followers”. The Democrats, other Christ-haters, love, after they have lied about who Christ Jesus is and what Christianity is, to then fake finding what they call hypocrisy among their favorite version of “Jesus” followers, but are always careful to say “We’re not attacking Christ Himself, just those who say they follow him.”
Not this time: this is a blatant injurious speaking against the Holy Spirit as eyewitness and an eyewitness that speaks through new creatures in Jesus Christ by the left.
Not satisfied with a complete disrespect of the Holy Spirit, Christ as Word of God as Creating Speech is absolutely denied while she, Alternet and Salon focus on flinging other lies, from “Jesus was married” to such mundane particulars as a supposed certainty that Jesus had short hair and wasn’t hung on a cross, but a mere pole. The number of disciples was “from astrology, not history”, a phrase that apparently only makes sense to her. The article includes the standard hodgepodge of accusations against Christ by Christ deniers for generations while she makes it appear these are new insights she came to for your benefit. The lie that other religions preceded Christianity ( as if it were true) must mean Christianity borrowed from those other religions is especially popular with pagans…for centuries.
It is the natural reasoning of a deceived mind after a distinction between Christ Jesus as Word of God and the speech God confounded at the attempt to build the tower at Babel is denied. No kidding, it really makes sense to a mind that thinks it is not necessary to escape human speech/anti-Christ in order to be saved from the coming wrath on Lucifer, Satan, anti-Christ and all those that have no part in Christ Jesus as Word of God/Truth. I’ll grant it makes sense to her, and is her best honesty, because she lies under the penalty of an everlasting sin, but is in no way truth.

Actually, Christianity started with God, Adam and Eve and new creatures in Jesus Christ were only first called Christians at Antioch after Christ’s death and resurrection. The Word of God, Jesus Christ, was always with God and God created all that is expressly by speaking pre-Incarnate Jesus Christ and afterwards the Spirit of Christ to make non-metaphorical new creatures in Word-of-God/Jesus Christ.
John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
John 1:14-17 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John bare witness of him, ( er, that’s EYEWITNESS of Him) and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
It then makes perfect sense that Valerie would be the one being used by anti-CHRIST while she merely writes busily denigrating a supposed “Jesus” without the “Christ”-part in the pretense she is the savior and she’s merely writing to alleviate you of your stupid minded, petty beliefs.

The article is pretty much right on schedule as the political season for president gets underway. Anti-Christ hates he has to start completely over ever political season by overtly attacking Christ and then falsely defining Christianity in order to get the sodomite agenda past the inattentive..something he is very adept at. In his mind and the mind of those who think a non-creating speech is the only speech in total reality, its a fight “over terms” in a larger argument against Christ and Christian America. First we have this fight, then he pretends he get his feelings hurt and that that is a sin, then he does some charity stuff, then he pretends he won.. gives himself some awards he makes up for the occasion, yada yada yada…
..then basically says “vote for change”, “be amazed!”…again.
