If sin is falsely defined to be an act you commit with an idealized free will, as the heretic Thomas Aquinas states in his book, De Malo ( On Evil ) of the Roman Catholic Church, then Baptism for the remission of sin can’t be done until you are deceived:
- that you supposedly have free will
- that sin is an act ( according to anti-Christ through Aquinas ) as “an act of free will”..”informed by reason”.
- that you know the difference between good and evil in order to be said to have “used your reason and free will” to do sin or avoid doing sin.
- there is no difference between the Holy Creating Word of God that IS God ( John 1:1 ) and non-creating human speech; that effectively there is just one big metaspeech God, Satan and Man supposedly share, such that God can lie and such that God speaks the same speech of Lucifer and demons; that Jesus Christ/Incarnate Word of God and Satan were speaking the same speech in the Temptation of Christ and God and Satan were speaking the same speech when Satan was accusing Job.
You would also have to be deceived one must be quite falsely educated and assent to those deceptions as truth and must wait until such time as those things are well understood as an adult else you would have to do it again when you actually understand these things as supposed truth because in the lie of free will, one person cannot have saving faith for another else the supposed sacrosanct character of the lie of free will and the so-called “offer” of the gospel for each individual is made mute, and babies know nothing until they have experience in the world and have the capability to sin and can be held as the ‘sinner’ by which they intend a ‘sinner’ to be “one who does self-willed acts ( that, in their lie of free will, no one can help but do BUT..) such acts as make God angry.
The parents of the child cannot, in the lie of free will be said to have faith in God for the benefit of the child when they are infants as Abraham had with Issac in circumcising him as an infant or Moses parents had faith in God on behalf of the infant Moses, or Mary and Joseph as Jews had Jesus Christ circumcised as an infant, or any other acts performed upon the child for the child’s benefit before God in grace throughout history. Only adults, in the lie of free will and the false definition of sin as soley an “act” can be baptized because of those false definitions, all of which absolutely in every way depend on confounding human speech with the Word of God and effectively teaching no distinction between them.
Some false religions call that ‘time’ in your life that all supposedly happens as reaching adulthood. Now, after the magic event of reaching adulthood, ( however that supposedly happens without your input ) you supposedly can be Baptized because by then you are deceived that all of the above is true and factual and have sinned “on-purpose” enough to understand that you need to be cleansed from sin with a sacrament/ritual that God has instituted. The fact that God has instituted Baptism (Matthew 28:18-20 ) is turned against the soul rather than cleansing the soul in those organizations.
We have a command of God Almighty as the Word of God that is God commanding us to Baptize in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.
Mat 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
This command from Jesus Christ was given after His resurrection. Not before.
Some will note that the Jews who lived in the Presence of the Word of God made Incarnate, Jesus Christ before His death and resurrection but after His having been made flesh through the means of the Holy Ghost descending on the virgin Mary, and whom followed what was called in that time, the Way (but what is now called Christianity) , had to be baptized twice: once when they were “ritually cleansed” ( the Israelites didn’t call it Baptism ) as confirming they were part of the covenant community in God of the Temple and the second time when John the Baptist, as the Holy Spirit spoke through him, called for a cleansing/baptism for the remission of sins and so that Jesus Christ would be made manifest to Israel.
John 1:29-33 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. 1:30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. 1:31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. 1:32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. 1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. 1:34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.
Two baptisms, one as an infant and one of John The Baptist would have been necessary because of the coming change of covenant in Christ on the cross and resurrection ..AT THAT TIME. But now, in Christ only one baptism is necessary and indeed other baptisms are strictly warned against:
2Corinthians 6:14-18 Be not diversely yoked with unbelievers; for what participation is there between righteousness and lawlessness? or what fellowship of light with darkness? 6:15 and what consent of Christ with Beliar, or what part for a believer along with an unbeliever? 6:16 and what agreement of God’s temple with idols? for *ye* are the living God’s temple; according as God has said, I will dwell among them, and walk among them ; and I will be their God, and they shall be to me a people. 6:17 Wherefore come out from the midst of them, and be separated, saith the Lord, and touch not what is unclean, and *I* will receive you; 6:18 and I will be to you for a Father, and ye shall be to me for sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
2Corinthians 11:3,4 But I fear lest by any means, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craft, so your thoughts should be corrupted from simplicity as to the Christ. 11:4 For if indeed he that comes preaches another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or ye get a different Spirit, which ye have not got, or a different glad tidings, which ye have not received, ye might well bear with it .
To be falsely baptized as an adult is to be baptized to another spirit and to reject the grace one has enjoyed in life since an infant.
It is not at all proven or even suggested that all the people who John the Baptist baptized had been previously been ritually cleansed as was Jewish practice for thousands of years. But some of them had and many priests would not be baptized and could not understand the Christ because of it. They hated him without cause.
The presumption / accusation in non-creating speech that a second baptism is necessary when reaching adulthood or the denial of the efficacy of infant baptism outright is purely based on a presumption of free will and a definition of sin as an act performed in free will.
Neither is true.
There is no free will.
Sin is a living creature that does sinful acts in the flesh, not an act done by a human being in perfect privacy of being and possessing ultimate power over oneself.
Sin is a living creature as a spirit ( the spirit that now worketh in the sons of disobedience: Ephesians 2:1-3 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 2:3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. ) ..that does what living creatures do.
Sin dwells, is said to be/exist in certain places ( the flesh ) has desires, kills, usurps identity, has its own ideal man, the man of sin ( human speech made flesh ), performs wickedness against the will of the Christian in the Christians flesh and lusts against the Holy Spirit in us.
Sin exclusively defined as an act and not a living creature done in ‘free’ will as an abstract is the only way sin can be ‘understood’ as depending on experience, education and non-God human reason so that it would be impossible for an infant to satisfy the conditions of sinning-on-purpose to need an exclusively adult baptism as renouncing it.
Sin perfectly understood to be a living creature and from which we are separated with no free will is easily understood as the reason for baptism to be performed upon infants as a grace of God on one who cannot defend oneself..as is the case with adults as well. We are saved by grace and made new infants in Christ..and then we are baptized as adults…if we have not been baptized as infants in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.
One cannot be permanently separated from an abstract that supposedly pops in and out of existence as an “act” and so one needs perpetually the services of the false priests who claim they have free will and sin is exclusively an act against the Law of God supposedly informed by human reason in order to “be cleansed” from past sins. Not only is human reason made a god as ‘figuring out’ what to do versus what not to do and the idealized free willer a god as having control and thus false guilt over their actions, but the grace of God Almighty and His Truth Jesus Christ is blasphemed and rejected in favor of self-grace supposedly validated by the false priests and his dogma. The dogma is there purely to employ the priest who are kept employed by the deceptions of their victims and the false guilt their dogmas engender. Lies are spirit but not spirit and life in Christ.
The guilt is false in the lie of free will because it is absolutely dependent on the individual in a idealized privacy and personal power to perform wickedness as-if sin were not a separate being than themselves that does sinful actions through the means of their flesh, and the guilt cannot ever be cleansed because it was false and never existed even as the true guilt before God goes uncleansed because the living creature that is sin remains. You can’t clean a thing that doesn’t need cleaning no matter how many ritual washings you bath within and you cannot obtain cleanliness on one thing while relentlessly washing another. To idealize sin as a non-creature, self-manufactured by men and women makes sure that the washing of fake-baptism do nothing to clean the conscience while being deceived all baptisms are equal: the false sin is being attacked “with religion” in perpetuity through false prayer, false baptism, ritual this and that which does nothing to separate you from the living creature that is sin. The creature/your enemy remains while you are made as a sin to deny the efficacy of the sacrifice of Christ and seek to wash yourself of the effects of past actions through your own flesh with the aide of religious sanctioned rituals.
You can be separated from another creature, but never separated from a idealized yourself that does evil acts.
The Baptism in Christ, either as an infant or as an adult, separates us to Christ in His election from the living creature that is sin and thus cleanses us from ALL unrighteousness. The false Baptism of those Baptist, the re-Baptist for whom dunking is the only option and exclusively as an adult, and for whom the whole of deceptive doctrines accepted as truth is necessary separates none from anything and is in fact an initiation into further heresy and wickedness based on supposedly following the law of God on one’s own. It is a denial of the efficacy of the blood of Christ for us, a denial of the absolute necessity of the grace of God and denial of non-metaphorical new birth in Jesus Christ.
Sin perfectly understood to be a living creature as an enemy makes plain that infant baptism is not only valid but a necessary part of the protection of infants from wicked spirits, having been baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit WITHOUT regeneration. There is no “baptismal regeneration”: we are not born again as a new creature in Jesus Christ by baptism. We are not falling into the error of the Romanists and others who claim new birth merely by being Baptized. God’s election stands. Many infants who are baptized turn out to be wicked persons who murder, rob, lie and become lying priests who by no means will be in heaven. That in no way does away with the benefit to God’s elect as protecting them. As to when regeneration occurs, no one can say other than when God reveals to them. It comes by hearing the Word of God, not by the washing of water. Infants and even the dead depend on the power of the Word of God, not water.
I Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 1:24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: 1:25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
James 1:17,18 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. 1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
Psalm 119:50 This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.
Psalm 119:92,93 Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction. 119:93 I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.
Long after it was established among the Jews the ritual cleansing as a reminder of the purification of the world via flood and coming through the waters of the Red Sea dry while their and our enemies were drowned trying the same, God says to all:
Ezekiel 36:24-28 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. 36:25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. 36:28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
Sprinkling rather than immersion is then established by Holy Scripture, even the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. We see plainly the early church was not engulfed in flames as being immersed in fire were Shadrach, Meshack and Abed-nego in Babylon, but had flames on top their heads as a sprinkling of fire:
Act 2:1-4 And when the day of Pentecost was now accomplishing, they were all together in one place. 2:2 And there came suddenly a sound out of heaven as of a violent impetuous blowing, and filled all the house where they were sitting. :3 And there appeared to them parted tongues, as of fire, and it sat upon each one of them. 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave to them to speak forth.
Plainly in baptism, it is God that cleanses us ( “I will sprinkle..I will cleanse”) and then in regeneration minus any free will He causes us to obey by the power of His Word alone ( “I will ..cause you to walk in my statues”..no free will ) having made formerly plain the penalty for trying in self-will to follow His commands or to make of His commands a supposed equivalent in human speech as strange fire ( as in calling Holy Scripture an “instruction book” to inform the falsely idealized human free will)
( Darby) Hos 5:11 Ephraim is oppressed, crushed in judgment, because in selfwill he walked after the commandment .
Isaiah 29:9-16 Be astounded and astonished, blind yourselves and be blind! They are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink. 29:10 For Jehovah hath poured out upon you a spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes; the prophets and your chiefs, the seers, hath he covered. 29:11 And the whole vision is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which they give to one that can read, saying, Read this, I pray thee; and he saith, I cannot, for it is sealed. 29:12 And they give the book to him that cannot read, saying, Read this, I pray thee; and he saith, I cannot read. 29:13 And the Lord saith, Forasmuch as this people draw near with their mouth, and honour me with their lips, but their heart is removed far from me, and their fear of me is a commandment taught of men; 29:14 therefore, behold, I will proceed to do marvellously with this people, to do marvellously, even with wonder, and the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their intelligent ones shall be hid. 29:15 Woe unto them that hide deep, far from Jehovah, their counsel! And their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us? 29:16 Oh your perverseness! –Shall the potter be esteemed as the clay, so that the work should say of him that made it, He made me not; or the thing formed say of him that formed it, He hath no understanding?
( Darby)1Samuel 13:11-14 And Samuel said, What hast thou done? And Saul said, Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that thou didst not come within the days appointed, and that the Philistines were assembled at Michmash, 13:12 I said, The Philistines will come down now upon me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication to Jehovah; and I forced myself, and offered up the burnt-offering. 13:13 And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of Jehovah thy God which he commanded thee; for now would Jehovah have established thy kingdom over Israel for ever. 13:14 But now thy kingdom shall not continue: Jehovah has sought him a man after his own heart, and Jehovah has appointed him ruler over his people; for thou hast not kept what Jehovah commanded thee.
Saul, not being aware that sin is a living creature from which we need to be separated, but thinking of obedience to God not as God’s Word creating what He says in us and the obedience in us, thought the commandment of God could be amended like human speech and changed, and that there was no other recourse than to “do” God’s commands “on purpose” and thus did not wait on Samuel, but presumed to adhere to his own timing dictated by his own need as the sin in him did it.. and God Says through Samuel:
( Darby) 1Sam 15:23-29 For rebellion is as the sin of divination, And selfwill is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of Jehovah, He hath also rejected thee from being king. ( even though Saul thought he had rejected nothing but had perfectly performed God’s Word on his own ..edit mine ) 15:24 And Saul said to Samuel, I have sinned, for I have transgressed the commandment of Jehovah, and thy words; for I feared the people, and hearkened to their voice. 15:25 And now, I pray thee, forgive my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship Jehovah. 15:26 And Samuel said to Saul, I will not turn again with thee; for thou hast rejected the word of Jehovah, and Jehovah has rejected thee from being king over Israel. 15:27 And as Samuel turned to go away, Saul laid hold upon the skirt of his mantle, and it rent. 15:28 Then Samuel said to him, Jehovah has rent the kingdom of Israel from thee to-day, and has given it to thy neighbour, who is better than thou. 15:29 And also the Hope of Israel will not lie nor repent; for he is not a man, that he should repent.
In seeking to establish their own righteousness by supposedly getting “will neutral/powerless information” from God as equating the Word of God with human speech, and in committing the sin of presumption that God’s Word was clay to be modeled into ceremony and ritual to be a part of their lives rather than the Word of God dwelling in them; in confounding Creating Speech/Christ with non-creating speech and not making the distinction between unclean and powerless human speech/anti-Christ with the clean and all-powerful Word of God, they fell on the founding stone and some were crushed by it, while not perceiving their error, but being lied to by a priest class whose sole mission was to rule by their means and loving the whole pretense and hypocrisy of it the whole time.
Jeremiah 5:29-31 Shall I not visit for these things? saith Jehovah; shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this? 5:30 An appalling and horrible thing is committed in the land: 5:31 the prophets prophesy falsehood, and the priests rule by their means; and my people love to have it so. But what will ye do in the end thereof?
So it is with Baptism in the modern false Church: they twist with human speech as it does it through them the definition of sin into an “act” so that it seems to validate the lie of free will and bounce back and forth between falsely validating the lie of free will ( as in saying “if we don’t have free will, then we can’t sin( do wrong acts ) and can’t “chose Jesus” and the false definition of sin, then saying “sin has to be an act we do on purpose otherwise we don’t have free will!” and then laughing in emotional manipulation as they do so to the easily intimidated and weak hearted in whom God does not dwell.
In the lie of free will and the lie of their definition of sin as a free willed “act” rather than a creature, their version of Baptism and the necessity of being an adult is founded and looks good to the non-Christian who thinks they are in charge of their own salvation. Baptism becomes just another instrument of deception, a tightening of the noose of false guilt while they eat and drink on the backs of their victims.
Do not be deceived. God is not mocked. Infant baptism is also established with baptism of the Holy Spirit as is plainly understood with no free will and absolute dependence on the power of God in every way as grace.
Act 2:14 -18 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice and spoke forth to them, Men of Judaea, and all ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and give heed to my words: 2:15 for these are not full of wine, as *ye* suppose, for it is the third hour of the day; 2:16 but this is that which was spoken through the prophet Joel, 2:17 And it shall be in the last days, saith God, that I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your elders shall dream with dreams; 2:18 yea, even upon my bondmen and upon my bondwomen in those days will I pour out of my Spirit, and they shall prophesy.
In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen
