There seems to be a trend of both fear mongering and a kind of self-embaressment going on wherein everyone is “admitting” their fears in public as a kind of pious confession-as-political-agenda.
Except that no one is saying they fear God..just everything else. See how that works? You can fear God…or fear everything human speech can string together in a sentence. Those who would supposedly guide you down a path of what they call intelligent fear are the exact persons whom God has spoken of saying as being proud of their pride:
Psalm 12:2-4 They speak falsehood every one with his neighbour: with flattering lip, with a double heart, do they speak. Jehovah will cut off all flattering lips, the tongue that speaketh proud things, Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail, our lips are our own: who is lord over us?
