A God who can only do good cannot perform wrath or judgment and cannot therefore have mercy because mercy is the forbearance of a deserved judgment. If God did not have absolute control over evil, He could not stop evil as part of the definition of mercy.
If it as the free willers say in their non-creating speech, that God and Jesus Christ can only do good and are in a conflict with a “god of evil” which is their false version of Lucifer and The Satan, then God is unable to perform judgment and wrath, as the performance of wrath against an individual is an evil against that individual. To cast into hell is not a good, it is an evil. To damn a soul is not a good. It is an evil. And these things are being in addition to the direct statement of God Himself as Word, Who cannot lie, that there is NO god beside Him.
Yet God not only says He does these things, but also has mercy on those who rightly deserve the same judgment, yet He spares us as the elect for witnesses to His true nature.
- That God creates evil..not just that He has created evil in the past:Isaiah45:5 -7 I am Jehovah, and there is none else; there is no God beside me: I girded thee, and thou hast not known me; –that they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the going down, that there is none beside me. I am Jehovah, and there is none else; forming the light and creating darkness, making peace and creating evil: I, Jehovah, do all these things.
- That God kills and God makes to live and that there is no god beside Him:
Deuteronomy 32:39-43 See now that I, I am HE, And there is no god with me; I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal, And there is none that delivereth out of my hand, For I lift up my hand to the heavens, and say, I live for ever! If I have sharpened my gleaming sword, And my hand take hold of judgment, I will render vengeance to mine adversaries, And will recompense them that hate me. Mine arrows will I make drunk with blood, And my sword shall devour flesh; I will make them drunk with the blood of the slain and of the captives, With the head of the princes of the enemy. Shout for joy, ye nations, with his people, For he avengeth the blood of his servants, And rendereth vengeance to his enemies, And maketh atonement for his land, for his people.
- That God casts souls into hell:
Luke 12:5-7 But I will shew you whom ye shall fear: Fear him who after he has killed has authority to cast into hell; yea, I say to you, Fear *him*. Are not five sparrows sold for two assaria? and one of them is not forgotten before God. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore, ye are better than many sparrows.
And afterward into the lake of fire:
Revelations 21:6-8 And he said to me, It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to him that thirsts of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcomes shall inherit these things, and I will be to him God, and he shall be to me son. But to the fearful and unbelieving, and sinners , and those who make themselves abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part is in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone; which is the second death.
- That there is no evil against God that God Himself does not perform…as in the case of Him having sacrificed Christ Jesus/Word of God on the cross for our benefit..that there is no evil from an outside source other than God against God, as would be the case if there was in fact, another god.
Proverbs 21:30 There is no wisdom, nor understanding, nor counsel against Jehovah.
That God is a judge and is also merciful and because He is the sole creator of evil and good, has the absolute power over evil and good:
Exodus 20:3-6 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make thyself any graven image, or any form of what is in the heavens above, or what is in the earth beneath, or what is in the waters under the earth: thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them; for I, Jehovah thy God, am a jealous *God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons to the third and to the fourth generation of them that hate me, and shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.
That there is no free will and one does not decide for oneself whether or not to be God’s friend or foe, but that God alone decides and therefore alone decides who is His friend or foe; who will be in heaven and who will have their part in the lake of fire:
Romans 9:15-26 For he says to Moses, I will shew mercy to whom I will shew mercy, and I will feel compassion for whom I will feel compassion. So then it is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shews mercy. For the scripture says to Pharaoh, For this very thing I have raised thee up from amongst men , that I might thus shew in thee my power, and so that my name should be declared in all the earth. So then, to whom he will he shews mercy, and whom he will he hardens. Thou wilt say to me then, Why does he yet find fault? for who resists his purpose? Aye, but thou, O man, who art *thou* that answerest again to God? Shall the thing formed say to him that has formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Or has not the potter authority over the clay, out of the same lump to make one vessel to honour, and another to dishonour? And if God, minded to shew his wrath and to make his power known, endured with much long-suffering vessels of wrath fitted for destruction; and that he might make known the riches of his glory upon vessels of mercy, which he had before prepared for glory, us, whom he has also called, not only from amongst the Jews, but also from amongst the nations? As he says also in Hosea, I will call not-my-people My people; and the-not-beloved Beloved. And it shall be, in the place where it was said to them, *Ye* are not my people, there shall they be called Sons of the living God.
In plainly showing Himself as the sole and absolute Creator and Ruler of total reality,
He also plainly declares that those who worship false gods, to include false versions of His Name are assigned to those false versions of god to serve in vanity by His decree alone:
Deuteronomy 4:19 and lest thou lift up thine eyes to the heavens, and see the sun, and the moon, and the stars, the whole host of heaven, and be drawn away and bow down to them and serve them, which Jehovah thy God hath assigned unto all peoples under the whole heaven.
And :
Deuteronomy 32:7,8 Remember the days of old, Consider the years of generation to generation; Ask thy father, and he will shew thee; Thine elders, and they will tell thee. When the Most High assigned to the nations their inheritance, When he separated the sons of Adam, He set the bounds of the peoples According to the number of the children of Israel.
And yet are not excused from judgment on the evil He created them to perform:
Romans 2:11 for there is no acceptance of persons with God.
…except for those He chooses to save in Jesus Christ:
John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and have set you that ye should go and that ye should bear fruit, and that your fruit should abide, that whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name he may give you.
There is then, no reason to feel a personal failure has occurred, or a responsibility has been lazily avoided or evilly avoided if some, even many, do not believe in Jesus Christ and then suffer the consequences of the evil God created them to perform as we observe those whom God has hardened in evil:
John 15:23-25 He that hates me hates also my Father. If I had not done among them the works which no other one has done, they had not had sin; but now they have both seen and hated both me and my Father. But that the word written in their law might be fulfilled, They hated me without a cause.
Christ Jesus/Word of God has already been merciful to us of the elect and has already hardened those whom He will harden: He alone creates and does both good and evil. He did the works by which we are saved and the evil ones STILL did not believe and therefore hated Him and hate Him to this hour, being unable to contend with even the mere feelings He has placed in their hearts.

It is no one but God’s “fault” that Islamics are Islamics; that God haters are God haters.
Fear God alone, as He is sole source of both what the evil need to fear and what the elect fear.
Proverbs 2:1-9 My son, if thou receivest my words, and layest up my commandments with thee, so that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom and thou apply thy heart to understanding; yea, if thou criest after discernment and liftest up thy voice to understanding; if thou seekest her as silver and searchest for her as for hidden treasures: then shalt thou understand the fear of Jehovah, and find the knowledge of God. For Jehovah giveth wisdom; out of his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He layeth up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to them that walk in integrity; guarding the paths of just judgment and keeping the way of his godly ones. Then shalt thou understand righteousness and judgment and equity: every good path.
Isaiah 33:5,6 Jehovah is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with justice and righteousness; and he shall be the stability of thy times, the riches of salvation, wisdom and knowledge: the fear of Jehovah shall be your treasure.
