False forgiveness done as best honesty makes prayers seem to be a case of freedom of speech, but not freedom of reach to God: God doesn’t hear human speech prayers. Forgiveness is of God in Christ.

Isaiah 6:5  Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.

It is one thing to not know what to say. There is a strange false sense of security in that in that you rely on the parts of speech, words, ways of speaking and foreign tongues of men you haven’t encountered yet to one day fill that gap. You automatically assume it is impossible for that to fail you: words or silence will be up ahead that will suffice for every need. It is another entirely to understand your entire speech, even the parts of it you don’t know and have no experience with and all the futuristic hopes of it cannot speak in the presence of God.

Mat 22:11-14  And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:  And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.  Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.  For many are called, but few are chosen.

Inside the Name Jesus Christ, Amen
