It Missed. Again!

He laughs.

As he laughs you know three things. Plus.

First, he has never been persecuted for the gospel of Jesus Christ. It has never even occurred to him that having had that experience would be to his benefit.

Second, there is nothing you can do about it.

Third, he thinks he has free will and it’s all on purpose. He’s got that laugh.

As you try not to laugh, understanding that his bold speech will burn in the lake of fire beside him and thus there will be weeping and knashing of teeth and not weeping and complaints, and your lips are doing strange things in silence to stay together, simultaneously remembering you live in the grace of Jesus Christ and he does not, you see a lot of other things. Should you frown instead? A big of other things? A Numerical able-to-be-numbered of other things? An infinitely dimensional explosion of consequences not necessarily related to time or space or physical tactility that his version of science could articulate. There is an abyss between the two of you. Things you never asked to know, never wanted to know.

The whole thing with salvation was about fearing God and hoping to escape His wrath..in the beginning. Now there is a whole, huge, different ….”…” while not getting past the fear.

You are peculiarly blessed by name in every way in Jesus Christ, the Word/Son/Speech of God. Lucifer can’t even pronounce you. You are kept guarded; perhaps in sadness sometimes but the kind that forces you to know you have wealth that his entire speech on its best day can’t admit exists much less describe.

He’s going to go on in his life, with a sense of humor common to those who don’t know they are inside a speech that hates them and uses them, thinking he has free will. Something comes for him that was never his friend.

He sees you. “Well I thought it was funny!”

As far as you remember from the time he said it until after all the things God has shown you since, which seems like a long time but was only a few seconds, it was a dirty joke. Something about whores..cash?

“What are you, a priest?!” his speech says, while he fully believes he said it himself inside a world stuffed from top to bottom with free will ..and his in particular. And its loud.

You are a priest, of the order of Melchizedek. You hear yourself say: “That’s not for me to say.” You get to say you were/are a priest when its over, after a lifetime of faithfulness, not before. Even then God has to say it for you through you in the future: “This one was faithful.”

He smirks as his speech says. “Yeah. Your a goddamn priest!”

And then you smile and give a small laugh of joy to God. God just revealed the “joy ..with fear and trembling” part after a long chase to understand it. You are soaking that up and his speech…

“Oh? You finally got it, huh?! Not the sharpest tool in the shed are we?”

The more his speech lays into it, the louder your laughter gets; the more his speech shoots and misses. His speech as a spirit is desperate to seem control the atmosphere, understanding and the explanation of what is going on in total reality right now. But its end comes; the Lord laugheth at him.

“How did you do that?’ his speech demands, totally sober now, doesn’t even mind to break its cover for a moment.

Do what?

“You stopped laughing but you’re not sad. Your laughter strengthened you. Seems like every time I laugh I get weaker. How can you laugh about whores and get stronger?”

Ah. Not just a random joke. He’s a witch and he was hunting (laugh up front–guilty afterwards ..defiles the conscience. That’s why they call them dirty jokes.) ..and you got away by the grace of Jesus Christ before you even knew what happened. He probably thinks you are smirking as you do strange lip movements to keep yours together, but little laughs escape.

Romans 8:20,21 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

Psalm 52:6,7 The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him: Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.

In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen
